Running out of memory

Today has been like yesterday. I've done stuff and while it has been two steps forward and only one back it has been progress. After work we had a good game of badminton and arrived home on time.

Today's blip is another technology macro/close-up shot. It's a very old kind of computer dynamic RAM module called Fast page mode DRAM (FPM DRAM), in this case on a 72-pin single in-line memory module (SIMM). I don't know why I have it in my box of tricks, it must have come out of something and I kept it in case it was useful. By modern standards it's pitifully slow and microscopic (22 MHz and 16 MiB versus 300 MHz and 4 GiB), I'm not sure what I'll ever do with it now...
