Woods and Waters: Reflections of Green

"Let's go walk up to the woods and spend the afternoon reading our books," my husband said. After all, we'd just hit the library in Bellefonte the day before, and we had tons of new books to read. And so it was that I grabbed my daysack (with a much anticipated book inside), my chair in a bag, and my camera, and off we went.

He pretty much lied, as it turns out, about the sitting and reading part - for we spent most of the next four to five hours hiking our little hoofies off in the Scotia Barrens, gameland 176. I didn't get to read much, but we did see some sights, including lots of water and trees. Above you may see one of the main ponds on our end of Scotia, with some fine green reflections.

My soundtrack song must be about water, and since I grew up in the 70s and 80s, my song is this one: Andy Gibb, with Love Is Thicker Than Water.
