Down On The Farm

On my walk today this tractor came along - creating clouds of dust. The little bit of rain we have had seems to have had no effect whatsoever. When I walked back it was busy working in a field - hilling up potatoes!

I did try another focus stack of a cowslip today - but it didn’t seem too successful, possibly as a result a very slight breeze causing some movement. The final shot has a sort of ‘halo’ around the flowers.

Supermarket delivery this afternoon - and four items were dated either today or tomorrow :-(

The chicken breasts  are dated tomorrow, I can use some tonight and have frozen the rest - but water melon (for a picnic tomorrow) and tomatoes are dated today and two boxes of mushrooms are dated tomorrow - and to be honest,  if they were on the shelf I wouldn’t have gone near them, they look well past their best already. Phone call made and refund obtained - but now I will need to go shopping to get replacements - grrr.

Lands End to John O’Groats virtual walk - i have walked 485 miles in 118 days - so 48% complete in 32% of time. This puts me at a place called Queensbury - between Bradford and Halifax.
