Burnt, and not burnt

There was a moorland fire this week above Saddleworth.

On today's lunchtime run I ran a circle around it.
A 10k hilly circle.

This view took my eye.

The river of grass flowing down the hillside, a clear identification of how the water runs off the moor to the stream and reservoir below.

Grass spared it's bbq treatment.
