And then the rains came....

Today we went up into the Yorkshire Dales and the town of Settle to meet up with family that we have not met (apart from virtually) for some months.
We set off for a walk from Settle under ominous skies. 20 minutes later we were walking through heavy rain and hailstones. I took this one photo looking back over the town during the hailstorm before we decided to retreat back down into the town. We had coffee and cake under one of the gazebos set up behind the Victoria Hall and run by the local community which warmed us up again.
Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday and our good old British weather is forecast to be very wet indeed.........
