Picasso? Edit: Van Gogh

We walked to town and back to return some library books, sneak in a crafty coffee and pick up a few supplies from the supermarket.

My, it was cold again, with a sharp wind which was rather unpleasant. Today’s blip is my contribution to Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg. Thanks again for hosting this challenge

This is the shop window of an organisation called Art-K in the Royal Star Arcade. Both windows, either side of the door were painted in this style. I’m keeping the other for another day. It’s a great piece of work, very attractive and eye catching. Is it a Picasso? (Oh! No it’s not it’s a Van Gogh, thank you Spannarama)

It was well past 2.00pm when we finally made it back home and getting on for 4.00pm before we got stuck into various things. Susan again working on the free motion machine embroidery while I tried to marshall the disparate ideas in my mind about the railway nature trail. I think I’ve managed to massage them into something useful. We’ll see.
