Flower Friday

Egad, two flower blips in a row??? • We visited two of our favorite places this morning: Agway for dirt, manure and birdseed; then onto Longfellow’s for a few perennial purchases (Joe Pye Weed, Bleeding Heart, Poppy, Tall Grasses). All to keep us busy and amused over the weekend. With all the rain recently weeds have invaded our flower beds, another to-do on our weekend list • A couple of large bumblebees amused themselves too among the numerous plants on display. They floated and danced and buzzed their way from bloom to bloom, happily pollinating in the morning sun. How could I not take this photo?
