Sorry squirrel...

I see squirrels by the footpath on the way to work most days, at least when I have an early start. They tend to be too skittish and too fast moving for me to get photos - I'm usually a bit sluggish and bleary eyed at that time as well. Consequently I was feeling quite pleased with myself for grabbing a couple of frames this morning. Sadly this evening when I've come to take a closer look on the PC it would appear that this poor little creature has a case of mange affecting the fur around its neck and shoulders. A little googling suggests that this is a survivable condition as long as the animal is otherwise healthy and the weather is not too cold - let's hope that's the case.
