Make do and mend

The fastener on my gardening apron (which has given me many years of good service) broke. I was pleased to discover that could order replacements ones and duly did so. They arrived today. That was the easy part - the strap was originally stitched but is quite thick and so I am experimenting with superglue. Fingers crossed.

This morning I did a mini-wardrove clear out and took the clothes to one one of the local charity shops. I also took some books to Station Book Shop (which sells second hand books for charity). It felt really good to be going into town for a purpose.
