A solution to empty shops?

I love this mural of Robert Burns by Alloa based artist Michael Corr. It is one of eight artworks commissioned by Stirling Council to help revitalise the town centre.

This afternoon I had a walk around the town, first time since lifting of lockdown, and I was horrified at the empty shops.

Clearly some “ blue sky thinking” is needed to find a way to draw people back into the centre again.

Each artwork is brought to life via interactive Augmented Reality (AR).
While this is innovative and would sit well in any gallery I do wonder if this is what people in Stirling want when they go into the town. But at least it’s a stop-gap and much better than empty shop windows.
