A much better day today for capturing floral subjects.

The Irises are very late this year so it's wonderful to finally be enjoying them. These belong to the empty house next door (right) and I fought off temptation last night to cut some for the dinner table.

Today will probably be a non-event after last night's excesses. Plenty of fluids and feet up... today will be pretty much a No Entry zone.

'im indoors is actually outdoors just now, measuring our boundary so that his strimming activity doesn't accidentally stray into next door's garden. Our new (left) neighbours appear to enjoy contention, best we avoid any possible points of friction.
