Wild Pink Phlox

I was up early (for me) for the second day in a row, as I wanted to get to the garden center and pick out plants for the front of our house before it got too busy. Just before I went out the door I decided I'd best check and see what time they opened, as I thought it was 8:00.....they didn't open until 10! So instead I took my camera and went over to South Shore Park to meander around, get my walk in, & see if I could find some wild flowers. I could see the pink color from the lower path so came up the hill, as these were all that were blooming right now. I was going to do a macro, but that's what I usually do, so I backed up and included the fence (and Downtown Milwaukee in the distance)--something a little different.  Then I went to the Post Office to drop off a package and by then the garden center was ready to open so I drove over there and picked out some plants. After I unloaded them back at home I decided the grass was getting too long so I mowed the lawn, and just as I was finishing, my sister-in-law pulled up. She'd brought us lunch, which was so thoughtful of her & we had a nice visit!  81 degrees today and now a little overcast, but there's a great breeze which keeps it from being too hot! Thanks to Anni/BikerBear for hosting FlowerFridays. :)
