Pretty pink!

Participating in 'no mow' May is paying off with the amount of wild flowers we're seeing that we didn't last year. I have no idea of its name but this is so pretty and has appeared in many places round the garden.  Barry intended to only strim pathways this year, rather than the whole field garden, but it's been too wet to even get started so we thought we may as well wait until June now!
I had my first lunch indoors with friends today. Val drove the three of us to Langdon Beck where we enjoyed an indulgent leisurely three hour lunch! With the weather still so poor it was great to be able to take our coats off inside to enjoy our little gathering. There's so much to catch up on, we hardly got going,  so have decided another lunch very soon is on the cards!
There are still plenty of teething troubles with mum and it's still not as stress free as I was hoping but hopefully things will soon settle and the phone calls will be more enjoyable!
It's looking more probable that we will have a dry day tomorrow,  so I'm hoping for some pleasant time in the garden, planting the flowers seeds I received for my birthday. Maybe we'll even get to see the sun!
