Plum Blossom
 and Blue Sky

Blue sky and white blossom make a very visually pleasing image - add a warm and calm day, and the quiet hum of hundreds of bees busily foraging just above your head, and it is a beautiful experience. I stood there for 5 minutes, just soaking it in.
The whole day was spent in the garden, digging, weeding, and moving earth as we clear another piece of ex-wasteland and replace it with a raised bed. Tomorrow should see the next raised bed in place.
The beans and peas I planted a while back are just poking their first leaves up through the soil. The honeyberry bushes I planted last year have survived and are now in bloom.
I've added two more pictures from the garden to my flickr page; one shows a detail of the blossom, complete with bee, and the other the night sky 30 minutes after midnight. This not so dark is as dark as it gets for the next two months.
