Tiny Tuesday: Banded Demoiselles

It was another earlyish walk down to the water meadows this morning in search of a suitable Tiny Tuesday shot.  Given the glorious weather it was hardly a chore.

In the event I had loads to choose from, including a freshly emerged scarce chaser.  I've blipped a scarce chaser recently so instead I've gone for the rather beautiful banded demoiselle damselflies.  I was in two minds whether to go with the male or the female - they are both beautiful in their own way, but I've solved the dilemma by uploading the blue male as the main and the green female as the extra.
