Red Beech Avenue

This is the red beech avenue leading to Hof ter Saksen which is a small, moated, grand house (now restored but empty, but used as a gallery space) surrounded by an arboretum and garden. The Stable block has been converted to offices for the local Park Dept and the Orangerie is a small cafe (Sundays only).

It was another fine day for the start of summer. I went for a short bike ride and then read in the garden during the afternoon.
