Upgrade time

Helpfully I'm doing an exchange. A mini PC I wasn't using, for some new computer components. In fact I have a credit note for these. So the projects are...

Upgrade my HP Elite laptop. To my surprise, it will go up to 32GB RAM. Currently it has 8GB. For the moment I plan on getting another card to bring it up to 16GB.
Without taking things apart I suspect the hard drive is a HDD one (in fact I later found it was SSD). My son has a spare 128Gb SSD drive in his PC which isn't connected. So I'll see if I can upgrade the laptop with that (Now not necessary).

Upgrade my sons PC hard drive from 1TB to 2TB. These are HDD drives, as I don't see the point in paying more for a large SSD drive. It already has a good processor and plenty of RAM.

Upgrade my own desktop PC. There is a shortage of 16GB RAM cards, so instead of maxing out to 32GB, I'll take the RAM from 8 to 16GB. Ironically the same as my old desktop, that my daughter now has.
I might also upgrade the hard drive to SSD... in this case a 512GB one (I only use half of that at the moment).

I'd also like to move my desktop PC from the floor, onto my big desk. It is really getting clogged up with dust.
