Over

The descent of my birthday balloon (plus the school bag and work clothes ironing) is symbolic of the definite end of the birthday celebrations and the last day of half term. Almost two weeks of cards, presents, visitors and a trip to the seaside have been mean I have been thoroughly spoiled. And half term hasn't rushed by as it often does.

Mum and Dad headed west this morning and Bailey has mainly spent the day sleeping. I have done some work in preparation,  taken my birthday cards down, stripped beds, washed and ironed bedding, made a quick trip to the supermarket and a delivery of flowers as per an annual tradition and there was some reading in the garden. All in all, I am feeling fairly ready for Term Six.
