Rhododendron

Just back blipped and added this quick shot today.
We have a couple of Rhododendron bushes in our front garden and both are just about at their glorious best right now. The photo was taken late on when the sun made a welcome appearance. Never mind staying indoors enabled me to prepare my images for submission to this months cc competition. Judging is a week on Monday when we will be away again. The big news from the garden today is the 2nd brood of robins have fledged, I've seen 2 chicks hiding under the hedge but I'm not sure if there are more. They will get plenty of supplementary mealworms this week but they will have to work extra hard on there own next week.
