Wandered here and there today. First Boscombe for Polish bread and up the high street.

Planned to then have an Aspall at the Riverside, Christchurch. Requested one of the outside tables with a sun umbrella. Told couldn’t have the table under the parasol as it ‘hadn’t been sanitized yet’. Politely suggested we’ll wait at the adjacent table - but the ‘welcomer’ declined as ‘they would then have to sanitize two tables.

Was too humid and uncomfortable for me in the hazy sun. So we left. Clearly they’re happy to lose customers.

Ended up on the shaded terrace at the Brewhouse & Kitchen. At least we were served with a smile.

Had a look round shops and as usual checked out the menu at Terroir. That’s me in the reflexion. For Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday challenge ‘Filter’.
