The Family.

I made a brief visit to the lake at the Taylor Dam this morning. A brilliant sunny winter’s day. A family of black swans were sunning themselves at the water’s edge. The cygnets I have been observing since they were pale grey fluffy little babies have grown into teenagers with feathers in varying shades of grey.
I met and chatted with a very nice young woman called Sophie. She, like me, was enjoying the bird life around the lake.
