Lost Rhino

We heard there was an exhibition of David Beschi's painting at the Lost Bear Gallery at Katoomba so went along to see it today.
It was to celebrate his 80th birthday. He is clearly still very prolific with lots of works there and about half have sold.
We bought a couple back in the 90's when he was living here and a client of Mr isbi. It was good to see they have actually appreciated in value a bit :-)

The rhino at the entry is not one of his pieces. It looks like an escapee from Dubbo which for some reason (maybe because there is a zoo there) has adopted the rhino as a local symbol 
It could also suit a Silly Saturday blip.
