Pollen for Bees

Pollen on columbine
pleases the bees.
Pollen on marigolds
sticks to their knees.
Pollen on foxgloves
makes them sneeze.

But pollen on geraniums
(bees' best gymnasiums)
enters their craniums --
pollen to tease!

Loving watching the bees in the garden, suddenly everywhere, at last. Still no sign of butterflies, beyond one Red Admiral yesterday! Hope they recover after all the cold rain and gales before this hot spell.

It's quite hazy today, with a fair amount of cloud. Not too hot, but pleasant to be outdoors, doing bits of gardening.
