Steady...

... as in 'ready, steady - go!!!'  This is my take on the Mono Monday challenge (and a second later, they were both bouncing around, giggling wildly).

These two lovely cousins are so close in age (only 6 weeks apart) that looking after them together is a total rollercoaster.  They ricochet from cuddles to competition in an instant, and in each case the dial is turned up to 11.
However, as we've been looking after them together for part of each Monday over several weeks, Richard and I are getting better at the referee role :-)
Today we had a lovely time: water play in the garden, a visit to the park, fun and games around the house, an impromptu dip in the bath when they both needed a nappy change at the same time. Having Diana here too - Richard's sister - was a great help.
In other news, I'm not sorry that the full easing of Covid restrictions is to be deferred for a few weeks.  Analyses about the full impact of the Delta variant seem to be trickling out in instalments, and the last thing we need is to risk a massive spike in hospital admissions.
