Second Jab

My pickup was booked in for another go at its MOT. With parts fitted (which I thought had failed prematurely) it was allowed to pass.

After dropping the car off at the garage I walked from Camaghael to Caol Community Centre where a Covid Jab clinic had been set up. If you thought you should have had a  second shot by now but feared you were missing from the official list then this was the opportunity to walk in off the street and be attended to. It was well organised and moved smoothly. I was attended to by a very pleasant nurse who didn't mock me for wanting to look away for the actual jag. Upon leaving the building I had a some errands to run and bumped in to a couple of folk I haven't spoken to in months. It was nice to have a blether. I made a quick detour to the boat before heading back to the garage for the car. I was back at the desk by lunch time.
I broke off to watch a disappointing Scotland match.
