Flowers for Rob

The funeral for Rob was a lovely celebration of his life.  He was the father of a dear friend of mine.  He was a country lad and I learned even more about him, particularly of his early days learning to fly Spitfires in Canada and creating his 55,000 hectare holding North West of Charlieville in Qld.   He farmed mainly sheep (they can survive those tough conditions) and the wonderful connections he and the family had with other families in the region.  It must have been very happy times for him despite the hardship of drought from time to time.

His favourite flowers were gerberas, hence this display.  I thought they were beautiful.
