A Grand Day Out

Well, grand in the sense that it was our first big day out since we had a weekend away back in October.

The wonderful Hobblers gave Tony and I vouchers for Betty's Cafe for our 40th Anniversary back in August and today we booked in to the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr, enjoyed a walk in the sunshine through beautiful flowers and then had a leisurely lunch in the very safe Cafe.  They do look after you at Betty's!

From there it was to the supermarket (my first supermarket in over a year!) and then to the garden centre to try and secure a hanging basket watering thing for our hose pipe, but it seems none are to be found anywhere!

My blip is of the primulas at Streamside, one of the stunning features of the garden, in memory of gardener Geoffrey Smith.
