Fish in the creek

The water was especially clear while I was on my walk today. I was out in the morning because my shift was earlier today. That was pleasant.

I recently got arm sleeves with UV protection for my bike rides. That way I won't use as much sunscreen, and bugs won't stick to my arms. That was always gross coming back from a ride covered in bugs. Today I ordered a skull cap so my scalp doesn't burn and I don't get sweat in my eyes. It fits under my helmet. I am preparing for the big ride.

On my next day off, I plan to ride halfway to my destination. That'll be 8 miles (12.8 km), but that's longer than I've ridden. I might need another water bottle for the full ride.
