Wintery Bird Walk

Yesterday’s bird walk was a cracker. The local bird group had arranged access onto a private property - one not burnt in the fires and with a wetland. WOW the birds we saw. 38 different species. My favorites the Azure Kingfisher with the hiccups ( apparently common for this bird) and the white bellied sea eagle. Magic day to be out but I really am yearning an extra 10 degrees.
