A lovely day for a walk

We’ve repeated the walk that we did three years ago. This image is similar to the one that marks that day but the sun was not so bright.

We walked to this loch and tried to have our lunch their but lots of midges tried to join us so we moved on.

Rather than repeating the previous walk we tried to do a different variation. However we couldn’t find the path and we ended up the wrong side of a gate. HtP had to help me climb over.

In the extra you can see a beetle and the wee highland man standing by the road.

We are now back in the lodge drinking tea and eating Scottish shortbread and haggis crisps.
