I do like wildflowers even though I don’t know the names of many. It’s something I’ll have to work on as we planted lots in our rockeries last autumn and they are now blooming and adding a big splash of colour to our garden.
I photographed two of these three in the wild. The lovely little wild orchid and the eye-catching yellow flag/marsh iris are always a delight to see on our walks. The third wildflower has made our garden all the more attractive with its presence. Alas in spite of my research I have not as yet identified it (possibly Jacob’s Ladder).
All the very best to England tonight!
