Wildflower hedgerows

Staying with friends in the Cotswolds and I am enamoured with the beautiful hedgerows. There are wild geraniums everywhere, together with meadowsweet and another thistle type flower that was new to me. Driver Paul was very obliging, stopping in the narrow lanes for me to take my photos. He would make a very good blip husband. In contrast to the delicate wild flowers, we passed a cottage whose garden was ablaze with Sweet William. (see extras)
We had lunch out, then went back to P&P’s for a cup of tea and a snooze before tackling our homeward journey. Luckily the M40 and the M25 were flowing freely and we had a quick journey home.
