Common Blue Butterfly #10

I was up and out before 8am this morning and back just after 9 to escape the heat of the day. Largely it worked and I was treated to loads of butterflies just waking up at Clock Face Country park. It's only 7 minutes drive from us, and apart from two sets of dog walkers, I didn't see a soul. 
Unfortunately the horseflies were out in force and I was bitten at least half a dozen times which was most annoying as it forced me home a bit earlier than I was ready for!  
This afternoon I harvested our first ever home grown potatoes! I was really pleased to get enough Anya to have with our salmon this evening. I hope they taste good too :)
