Meadow Brown Butterfly

Warm and sunny Monday morning walk at Mugdock Country Park, very few birds to see so I was glad to get a shot of a butterfly instead. I am not familiar with the different types of butterfly but  having checked on https://butterfly-conservation.org this one is a Meadow Brown and is one of the most widespread species in the UK. I will try and remember that for the future but do not hold out much hope !
