Swans at Kilmardinny

Very hot and sunny afternoon again. 
Had a short walk around the Loch. 
When we were there last Friday I was very sad to see that there was only one cygnet left and it looked to be the same at Mugdock when we were there on Monday. Neither families have done well this year, I do hope the last little ones will survive. This cygnet looks strong  and was actively washing and preening itself in the sunshine, lovely to watch.
