Fields of Gold

As summer heads to the finishing line the fields continuously change colours and gold is my favourite. As I look across the countryside I enjoy seeing the patchwork quilt effect.  

All too soon the farmers will be preparing to harvest their crops and the show will be over.

I took several photos at the edge of, not in, a field on the outskirts of the village.  The late afternoon sun enhanced the golden colours.
