Derwentwater from Friars Crag - low water

We haven't had any real rain in the Lake District for weeks. I thought a visit to Friars Crag would illustrate just how low the water was. Some of you will know the sheep fence that runs into the lake just to the left of Friars Crag - you could walk around the end of it with dry feet. The low water mark plaques were all visible - all but one were above the water level - only one, the 2018 level indicator - was still (just) below the surface.

Important to record, and essential to Blip.
