The rain came down (finally)

Photo taken while sheltering from a heavy downpour, just as I was walking home from a walk round the Glen. It didn't want to stop, so in the end I had to take the plunge and walk back in it. My dog really wasn't impressed. She obviously thought it was much more sensible to stay under the trees!

I don't think it had rained for several weeks or more, and it's been almost consistently warm and sunny for a long time (much longer than we're used to here!)

Literally moments before, I had been standing in the middle of the burn (Moniack Burn) taking photos of how dried up it is. I don't remember ever seeing it quite this dry and boulder strewn before. See my extras.
