The Lozarithm Lens

By Lozarithm

Abstract Thursday (Thursday 29th July 2021)

This week Ingeborg set the challenge theme of 'Summery/Wintery'. Not being antipodean I selected 'Summery', which I feel is represented by these Town Gardens crocosmia 'Lucifer'. I nearly blipped these more conventionally on Tuesday, and passed over them again yesterday, so it's third time lucky for these.

Here are the planters from outside the Lansdowne Strand, revisited and given the abstract background treatment.

With thanks to Ingeborg.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Gwenifer Raymond - Laika's Song (2018)
This was playing on the radio when I tuned in to Elizabeth Alker's Unclassified on Radio Three. I spotted the influence of John Fahey, the American primitive guitarist from the 1960's, but guessed the musician would have been a near contemporary, perhaps Leo Kottke. In fact Gwenifer Raymond is from Wales and is performing now. This comes from a previous album, You Never Were Much Of A Dancer.
