Light the North #3

Another day, another ‘Light the North’ lighthouse sculpture.

Fittingly this one overlooks the entrance to Peterhead Harbour.  It was designed by a very talented local artist, Gabi Reith.

The title of her work is taken from the song ‘My Bonnie Lies O’er the Ocean’.  Gabi’s design was inspired by family, their safety and the feelings of being lost then found.  It is dedicated to the RNLI for the work they do saving people lost at sea and rescuing refugees.
