Immature Blackbird (Turdus merula )

Things with the summerhouse Clickychick's palace studio are progressing well.  Yesterday as I said we were almost up to the eves.  To day I am on top of the world, well on top of the building anyway.  The main task for today was fitting the roof boards.  As they were supplied ready cut it was merely getting them up there and nailing and nailing and nailing.

As work is taking up so much of my time I just grab any shot I can as a blip.  This is an immature blackbird, probably female, at the feeding station.  I say probably female as I have seen others almost certainly from the same clutch which are showing black feather, she had none.   Immature as the breast is much lighter and more marked than I would expect in an adult.
