Hot!

I decided to check out the state of the potted plants next door following the days of sunshine over the last few days.

I had watered them before but one had been scorched. However, I  noticed today that new growth is occurring on every branch.

This evening we watched Only Connect and University Challenge. Both are quiz shows that can be very challenging.
However, we did extremely well correctly answering questions and solving puzzles, some which stumped the contestants.

Did Pat, my mixologist, put something in the gin cocktails?
