River Thames

My daughter and I went to Southbank today to make the most of the last day of the hot weather. It was glorious.
We had lunch in the cafe in the park next to the embankment tube station and then wandered over the footbridge to Southbank. We found a bench to sit further down the river and enjoyed an ice cream on the return journey back.
The tube was too crowded going but fairly empty on the way back. A lot of people not wearing masks and I have to say I did start to get very uncomfortable. I won’t be going much after this as the underground is getting busy this week with schools back and people returning to work!!
