Tea party

Back blip - Thursday
We spent a lovely day in Knaresborough, starting with an early walk along the river Nidd towards the low bridge and then back, under the viaduct, to the High bridge we crossed the river and visited Mother Shipton's. There was a lovely walk through part of the Royal forest of Knaresborough and eventually, after passing an Alice in wonderland themed play area, we reached the cave, wishing well and petrifying wall (extras). Great views across to the other bank along the way.
We had some lunch in the towns market area and then wandered up to the castle and also Bebra gardens. Finished the day with a round of putting (just beaten by Dennis).
Thunderstorm at teatime, but the rain had eased by the time we went out for dinner.
