Blue skies over the great lake

The great lake is the Muirton Basin, part of the Caledonian Canal. I passed by it today, on my way to the world famous Inn. I thought there was a fair chance of there not being a charity darts competition, and as it turned out, I had the honour of being the first customer of the day. I had pleasant blethers with the barmaid on duty who it turns out is very interested in music, even music from eras before she was born. 'I had hippy parents,' she explained. I enjoyed our banter.
