Going Up

The newest addition to our skyline seems to have reached its height limit. Haymarket is changing, whether for better or worse we’ll have to wait and see. None of the other builds are past the foundation or lift shaft stage though so it’ll be a long wait.
Nipped up to the allotment this evening to check things out - pretty depressing! Doesn’t look like Jo has done much watering over the summer and the figs and blackberries hadn’t been fully harvested so were rotted or dried out. Salvaged one fig but that was it. The peas and beans have probably been well tended though, she does like her legumes. Brought some cucumbers home which I think are past their best. A pickling opportunity!
