Oxcombe, Lincolnshire

This is the place where I go on Fridays for my pottery class. Oxcombe was mentioned in The Domesday Book when there were recorded to be 18.5 households with 11 freemen. There were 2 plough lands and 2 mens plough teams. There was a meadow of 60 acres. Now there is a working farm and a large farmhouse plus several barns 3 of which have been converted to potteries. It a lovely setting and you feel miles from anywhere! The church was built in 1842.
