On a petal

This hover fly is just so amazing, I love to take macro shots, it’s head is almost separate to the body, the upper body is so bright, and it’s front ( paws) legs/hands were rubbing together like it was washing. Amazing little creatures.
I had a lift to my swim with my sister today as she swam with me, then we got a warming coffee. so I got this on the grass as I was hanging out the washing.
