Oak Leaf Hotel

This oak leaf is providing accommodation for what I assume are a variety of insects. It makes for an attractive and fascinating pattern.
We went this morning to see one of my grandson's play football. This is the first time I have seen him play and he was quite impressive making frequent driving runs from mid-field, tackling back and finishing in goal where he made three good saves. They also won 3-1, after going a goal down.
A surprisingly warm day so time to cut the grass when we arrived home and enjoy a few moments sitting under the pergola reading the Sunday paper.
