A Meandering Life...

Mono Monday 402 :: MM402 :: Invention

One hundred years ago the overhead garage door was invented by CG Johnson from Detroit, this allowed more space go get in and out. Five years later in 1926 he then invented the electric opening overhead garage door. I have two such electric/remote controlled doors on my garage.

The trouble with gadgets and technology is they can go wrong. Today one of my doors broke, by the sound of the noise a cable or gearing has snapped. Tomorrow an engineer will see if they can fix it. Until then Matilda is trapped as even the manual operation fails to work.
